Well once again I forgot to update this thing (thanks Jedi for the reminder :P) so here we go-
Recent CK Events:
We've been farming in sea and pushing a few more members through the last few battles for sea access in preparation for tier 2 jailers and beyond. We've got a solid sea team ready and its only a matter of time before we're spawning the next level of monsters there.
Our limbus division stepped into the arena with Ultima for the first time and despite having the wrong job spread (as we found out not long after engaging) we did quite well. Adjustments have been made and next time we will have a better go at this guy.
CK also had a couple of HNM claims this week (Behemoth, LoO). We seem to be getting the hang of competing for claims in rare spawn situations. We're still learning, but as we gain experience, we're improving our ability to win some of these claims.

Oh and by the way, we don't cheat. We'd appreciate it if those who continue to suggest that we do (only a few bad apples amongst a group we have great respect for) to accept the fact that you don't win every claim. Our guys have worked hard, legitimately, at improving our HNM game and to insist otherwise only reflects poorly upon your own team. A shell that is graceful in defeat is even more honorable in its triumph.

We attempted our first ever Kirin with melee burn style tactics on Thursday (goal being to hold him with constant dps long enough to burn him out before he can even summon). We did alright but had to revert back to traditional kiting methods when he managed to summon his minis. CK finished him off though and finally got our second ever pair of crimson legs (in who knows how many kills between drops) Congrats to Nogard on his new speedyness.
PinCKs Dynamis has been struggling with attendance, especially in my absense from the dynamis scene as a result of increased workloads irl. The decision has been made to put it on hold until playtimes allow for us to jump back in and run it again. Members will likely disperse to other shells in the meantime, so the future of our dynamis operation is uncertain. It was, however, a great run and I'd like to thank all those who remained loyal to our group and participated in our success over the last 2 years.
We have some big plans for the next two weeks, so expect some major updates in the days to come.

I have played with some of the best players in the world in EQ1 on the Veeshan server, led some top notch people in FFXI on the Quetzalcoatl server, and am currently a part of an elite team in Pravus Dei, forming up to take on the new challenges that will present themselves in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. PinCk's has been around a little over a year... not even close to 2 years.
Also, CK is a joke. Your linkshell, run by you, drives people into the dirt. You seem to enjoy giving people a rough time about their own activities, when you yourself can't commit 80% of the time. You call yourself a "Top Notch" group of learning players, but can't seem to keep your members happy. It's not all about the drops, and the win all the time.
Get your game on straight, mister Ranka.
If you really did not care what others thought about you, Anaeran, you wouldn't be attacking people wondering who this Anonymous poster is. I'm sorry to have turned your Blog into a flameboard, but.. well, ok, maybe I am not sorry.
Truth is man, I can promise you, many a person who has read this comment, will entirely agree. Although not quite as vocal as myself, I can promise you this one thing.
Arylias, this poster above me, makes an excellent point. He must have been a CK member at some point. I have heard about your sudden bouts of "I quit, I'm done, goodbye guys" many times. I think you enjoy the Drama mister Ranka. Truly I do. I hate to personalize this, because I do not know you personally, but from a viewer's standpoint, you really are a joke. Maybe not your linkshell, well, at least some of them anyways. Daodao, he's a class character.
Maybe you should heed what I say a bit? Eh? Consider it a while. Save your 'team' the trouble of your agressive antics and drama, and quit the damn game. It may be a good change for you. I know I for one, am not the only person who isn't impressed at your 8 years of internet gaming "leadership" experience. Were you an everquest player or something? You ever think about that? You proudly announce your 8 years of service, of loyal fealty to other video game players around the world, as their sole leader and 'protector'. How pathetic.
Quit the game, give your linkshell a break. Let the people that really care, and the people who can do a better job lead your "team". Maybe seek some mental help. As far as the anonymity of this post, it's for the best. Who knows, maybe you will find out some day, mister Ranka.
As for now, pay close attention to the people you play with. Maybe you'll catch a little glimpse of what people say about you so much.

I just wanna clarify real quick, that I have nothing against any of the members of CK (As a lot of you guys are my friends), just "The Ranka" can't lead you guys down a one-way street...

A fair leader that allows people to earn items based on what they earned within the shell? Nogard had points for the W.Legs, and therefore he lotted them. He's been with the shell a very long time and frankly deserves them over a Paladin who has less time with the shell. Within the bounds of the rules, which are fair. Show up to events, get rewarded. How is that unfair?
Half the RDMs in my personal Dynamis shell, which you hissily fittedly left Arylias have W.Legs. Its not that much of a uncommon instance.
If you people aren't in fucking CK why don't you just shut the fuck up and quit with the drama.
Anaeran is a really good leader and a really good person. One thing I along with a lot of my fellow members really enjoy about CK is they try to minimize the drama, and Anaeran generally is NOT acceptible of actions like your own, drama causing tendencies.
Last night we took Jorm down to 11%. We dodged a spike flail and an accidental call for help was the only reason that bitch didn't go down. We killed Nidhogg our first try, we took a CFH Fafnir and tooled it. We're working on a second set of tier 2 Jailer pops. You guys call CK a joke, what the fucking hell ever. You guys think what you want, but the members are the only ones whose opinion matters about the shell.
Ok. I respect the opinions of those who actually have the balls to back it up and post with their own name.
Arylias, you showed what kind of player you were when you were here. We gave you not 1, not 2, but 3 chances after your drama fits to come back and play with a team mentality, and you couldn't handle that. It wasn't a fit for you here and I'm sorry for that, but my guys who are still here are having a blast. You don't have the right to speak for all of them.
Anonymous guy- If you weren't so embarrassed about your opinions they may be worth addressing further. Its obvious that since you're hiding behind a fake name, this discussion is pointless to continue.
For everyone else who is reading this looking for CK bashing posts-
When there is an issue with me, my members have the opportunity to bring it up so we can resolve it. This system has worked well for us for a long time.
All of the successful end game shells get shit on in one way or another. The more recognition you give us, the more you're fueling our drive to succeed.
I'm not claiming to be some kind of Saint here. You're damned right I've got an ego and I won't ever deny it. I understand that there will always be people who will resent what I do. I'm ok with that because I've got a group here worth fighting for. I've got my goals, and CK knows them. The peole here share those same goals and we're working hard at getting there as a team (after finally losing the extra baggage brought on by selfish players).
As far as where we stand end game wise, we'll just let our actions speak for us.

Arylias..bottom of the end-game barrel? Pretty nice barrel if the LSs at the bottom of it are killing Nidhogg and Fafnir on their first try.
I wish people would stop careing so much about this crap. Yes i was a CK member and yes i left the LS. And tho im sure im not liked by many for leaving, i sitll respect the LS for its goals and the people in it. Ana may not be the "best" leader, but he did chose who could and couldnt join his LS, and that itself shows good leadership.
He may have said some bad things about me after i left, and i wouldnt be suprised. Everyone gets mad, but i still respect him as a person. Plz just drop this little war, this game has enough drama already >_>.

What bugged me is the way you went out (after we spoke about it way before it ever happened). I had hoped the drama coulda been avoided, but woman stuffs tends to end up that way anyways. :P
